Choose a Plan

Navigate to Settings → Billing and select a plan

Start Free Trial

Click “Start 14-Day Free Trial” on any paid plan

Full Access

Enjoy full access to all plan features for 14 days
Free trials are one-time per organization. After your trial ends, you’ll be automatically charged unless you cancel.

Trial Details

  • Duration: 14 days from activation
  • Access: Full features of the selected plan
  • Payment: Card required upfront, charged after trial ends
  • Cancel anytime: No charge if canceled before trial ends

Subscription Management

Viewing Your Plan

  1. Navigate to Settings → Billing
  2. See current plan and usage
  3. View billing cycle and next payment

Upgrading

Open Billing

Go to Settings → Billing

Click Upgrade

Select “Upgrade Plan”

Choose Plan

Select your new plan

Confirm Payment

Review charges and confirm
Upgrades take effect immediately. You’ll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing period.

Downgrading

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to all features until then.
Downgrading may disable features. Review what’s included in each plan before downgrading.

Canceling

To cancel your subscription:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click “Cancel Subscription”
  3. Provide feedback (optional)
  4. Confirm cancellation
Canceled subscriptions:
  • Retain access until period ends
  • Data is preserved for 30 days
  • Can be reactivated anytime

Payment Methods

Adding a Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods
  2. Click “Add Payment Method”
  3. Enter card details
  4. Click “Save”

Updating Payment

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods
  2. Click “Edit” on existing method
  3. Update details
  4. Click “Save”

Removing Payment

You must have at least one valid payment method on active subscriptions.

Invoices

Viewing Invoices

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Invoices
  2. See list of all invoices
  3. Click to view details

Downloading Invoices

  • Click “Download PDF” on any invoice
  • Download multiple as ZIP
  • All invoices available for 7 years

Invoice Details

Each invoice includes:
  • Invoice number
  • Billing period
  • Line items
  • Payment method used
  • Tax information
  • Total amount

View current usage in Settings → Billing → Usage:

Overage Handling

When you exceed plan limits:

Upgrade your plan before hitting limits to avoid disruption.

Billing Cycle

Monthly Billing

  • Charged on signup date each month
  • Access from payment to next payment

Annual Billing

  • Pay upfront for 12 months
  • 2 months free (17% discount)
  • Charged on signup date each year

Switching Cycles

You can switch between monthly and annual:
  • Monthly to annual: Prorated credit applied
  • Annual to monthly: Takes effect at renewal

Taxes

Kasava applies taxes based on your billing address:

Tax Exemption

For tax-exempt organizations:
  1. Contact support@kasava.io
  2. Provide exemption certificate
  3. Tax will be removed from future invoices

Troubleshooting

Check that card details are correct. Ensure sufficient funds. Try a different payment method.
Contact support@kasava.io with invoice details. We’ll investigate and issue refunds if appropriate.
Invoices are sent to the account owner’s email. Check spam folder. Download from Billing settings.
Contact support within 30 days of charge. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
